ABSTRACT

Se realizó una intervención educativa para modificar los conocimientos de 22 familiares de niños y niñas con trastornos por déficit de la atención, hiperactivos o no, que asistieron a la consulta de psicopedagogía del Hospital Infantil Norte Dr Juan de la Cruz Martínez Maceira de Santiago de Cuba, desde enero hasta mayo de 2009, con la finalidad de que adquiriesen estilos de conducción educativa adecuados para comprender y controlar a los menores. Se revisaron las historias clínicas de estos últimos y se aplicaron a los padres la entrevista y la prueba de funcionamiento familiar FF-SILL. El diseño de la actividad educativa contempló 8 sesiones semanales de trabajo, de 50 a 60 minutos cada una, durante las cuales se utilizaron técnicas participativas, así como de control y evaluación de los encuentros. Los resultados del estudio fueron los esperados en sentido general, de donde se deduce que sería muy beneficioso extender esta modalidad de enseñanza-aprendizaje a todas las familias que manifiesten hallarse en esa situación y a los entornos escolares.


An educational intervention to modify the knowledge of 22 relatives of boys and girls with disorders due to attention deficit, with hyperactivity or not, who attended the Psychopedagogy consulting room from Dr Juan of the Cruz Martínez Maceira Northern Children Hospital in Santiago de Cuba was carried out from January tol May, 2009, with the purpose that they acquire appropriate educational conduction styles to understand and control those children. The medical records of these children were reviewed and the interview and test of family performance FF-SILL were applied to the parents. The design of the educational activity comprised 8 weekly working sessions, with 50 to 60 minutes duration each, during which participating, control and evaluation techniques were used. The results of the study were the expected ones in general sense, from which it is infered that it would be very beneficial to extend this teaching-learning modality to all the families which are in that situation and to the school environments.

Se realizó una intervención educativa en 40 escolares con trastornos por déficit de atención con hiperactividad atendidos en la consulta de psicopedagogía del Policlínico de Especialidades perteneciente al Hospital Infantil Norte Dr Juan de la Cruz Martínez Maceira de Santiago de Cuba durante el primer semestre de 2005, con el fin de evaluar la eficacia de la terapia floral en el tratamiento de dichos niños. Se conformaron 2 grupos de tratamiento: uno de estudio y otro de control, con 20 integrantes en cada caso. En los que componían el primero, tratados con terapia floral, se logró una mayor disminución de las alteraciones conductuales y emocionales.


An educational intervention was carried out in 40 schoolchildren with disorders due to care deficit with hyperactivity assisted at the Psychopedagogy Outpatient Department of the Specialties Polyclinic belonging to Dr Juan of the Cruz Martínez Maceira Northern Hospital in Santiago de Cuba during the first semester of 2005, with the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the flower therapy in the treatment of these children. Two treatment groups were formed: the study and the control group, with 20 patients each. In those forming the first one, treated with flower therapy, a higher decrease of the behavioral and emotional changes was achieved.
